La fase di editing è terminata sia sul villaggio che sulla sinagoga! Adesso abbiamo davvero una visuale completa del sito di Cafarnaum composta con tutte le 289 scansioni! Le scansioni sono state editate con il software JRC 3D Reconstructor e sono state pubblicate in gexcel R³, in una versione potenziata. Ora è possibile visualizzare le scansioni tutte insieme in un unico modello! Incredibile come sia possibile gestire questa mole di dati in un solo file e navigarlo in tempo reale! Queste sono solo alcune anticipazioni di quello che vedremo nelle prossime pubblicazioni... aspettateci!

The editing phase is completed for the village and also on the synagogue! Now we have a complete Cafarnaum site, composed by 289 scans !

All the scans have been treated with software JRC 3D Reconstructor and later moved to a enhanced version of gexcel R³. Now we can display and move all the scans together in one model!

Amazing how we can manage this multitude of data in a single file and navigate it in real time! These are just some of what we'll see in future publications ... wait!

Dopo un periodo di silenzio eccoci di nuovo per aggiornarvi sul lavoro svolto fino a questo momento. Tutte le scansioni sono state importante e osservate in Faro Scene e dunque importate in JRC 3D Reconstructor dove potremo cominciare le operazioni di editing e di allineamento.

L'allineamento di tutte le 289 scansioni è stato completato in JRC 3DReconstructor, quindi tutte e tre le parti del nostro rilievo sono complete! L'area di rilievo è stata suddivisa in tre zone principali. La casa di San Pietro, il paese di Cafarnao, la Sinagoga.

Ad oggi è stata completata la fase di editing della casa di San Pietro, operando sulle scansioni al fine di limitare le zone di sovrapposizione, in particolare per il fatto che il colore di alcune aree risulta non omogeneo in quanto il rilievo è stato fatto in ore diverse della giornata.

Le nuvole di punti sono state dunque esportate in gexcel R³ per ottenere una visualizzazione della nuovola di punti ed una navigazione più rapida. Nel frattempo prosegue il lavoro sulla parte del villaggio e sulla sinagoga.

Hello ! We are back after a period of  "silence", to inform you about our last work. All the 289 scans have been analyzed in Faro Scene and the moved to JRC 3D Reconstructor, to start with editing and alignment phases. The Cafarnaum site has been divided in three parts: the San Peter's home, the ruins of the ancient village and the Synagogue.

Even the editing phase of the House of St. Peter has been completed, trying to limit some overlapping between side scans so to limit the influence of different in the color linked to the points (the scans have been taken in different time and for the reason have different illumination).

The point clouds were then moved from JRC 3D Reconstructor to gexcel R³ to display the result and have a faster navigation.

Meanwhile, work continues on the part of the village and the synagogue. Here are some pictures taken directly from the gexcelR³ software!
